Re: Republic of Bangladesh: Reaching Out of School Children II
(IDA Grant No. D383-BD)
Cancellation
We refer to the Financing Agreement between the People's Republic of Bangladesh
("Recipient") and the International Development Association ("Association") dated November 5, 2018,
as amended ("Agreement") for the above-mentioned Project ("Project"). We also refer to letter from
the Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance ("ERD"), dated May 27, 2021 requesting for a
cancellation from the above-captioned Grant.
We are pleased to inform you that after due consideration, the Association has agreed to your
request.
The Association hereby cancels One million two hundred and twenty nine thousand five hundred
and forty Special Drawing Rights (SDR 1,229,540), which is equal to the undisbursed amount available
under the Grant, with effect as of May 27, 2021 (date of receipt of such request by the Association).
The withdrawal table set forth in Section 111.2 of Schedule 2 to the Agreement has been revised
accordingly and the revised withdrawal table is attached to this letter.
Except as specifically amended in this letter, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement
shall remain in full force and effect.
Please confirm your agreement to the foregoing on behalf of the Recipient by countersigning
and dating the form of confirmation set forth below and returning one fully countersigned original of
this letIer to us and retaining one original for your records.
