After Project effectiveness, there has been progress in the development of operational instruments for the Project implementation. According to PIU data, there are 5000 youth beneficiaries registered in the system which follow the eligibility criteria defined for the Project. Additionally, the agreements signed between the Government and the private firms signal strong interest to provide vacancies for the Project’s beneficiaries. In this context, the WB has maintained the ongoing dialogue with the MoP to promote the beneficiaries and firms/ interest and disseminate the information on the benefits of the training on socio-emotional skills, aimed at better preparing the youth beneficiaries for internships and the later stage of labor insertion. The Project is still working in the development of the strategy for the socio-emotional and employability skills training, which will be provided to all Project beneficiaries. In this framework, the WB has maintained widely the dialogue with the MoP in order to promote the interest and disseminate the benefits of carrying out said training on socio-emotional skills, aimed to better prepare the young beneficiaries to initiate the internships and the later stage of labor insertion. As a result, the PIU has provided to the WB team the ToRs for contracting a training institution.
