A certain number of activities initially included in the PPA have advanced with three contracts concluded (advisor for e-business, feasibility study for IXP and study for the creation of a center of excellence). The procurement process is advanced for an additional 4 studies. Agentic has signed rental agreement for the incubation center. The Government has already allocated counterpart funds to cover incentives for civil servants involved in project implementation. A certain number of challenges are worth noting (i) long delays in securing approvals from the Direction nationale des Public Disclosure Copy marches Publics, (ii) the technical capacity of the focal points to prepare ToRs for complex activities is being built, (iii) difficulties to implement simultaneously project studies and to follow up on preparations activities. As result, the disbursement level is at around 2% after 6 months of implementation.
