REPUBLIC OF MOZAMBIQUE: Trust Fund for the Co-financing of Health
Service Delivery Project for Mozambique Grant Number TF096505
Amendment to the Grant Agreement
We refer to the Grant Agreement (the "Agreement") dated April 15, 2010, as
amended to date, between the Republic of Mozambique ("Recipient") and the
International Development Association ("World Bank"), acting as administrator of
grant funds provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development,
formerly known as Canadian International Development Agency ("CIDA") for the
Co-financing of Health Service Delivery Project ("Grant" and "Trust Fund"). We also
refer to our recent discussions to reduce an amount of CAD$630 from the total Grant
amount of the Trust Fund resources.
We, therefore, propose to amend the Agreement in respect of the provisions
below:
1. First paragraph of the Agreement is amended to read as follows:
"In response to the request for financial assistance made on behalf of
Republic of Mozambique (the Recipient), I am pleased to inform you that
the International Development Association ("World Bank"), as
administrator of grant funds provided by Government of Canada as
represented by the Minister for International Cooperation acting through
the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) (the Donor)
under the Health Services Delivery Project for Mozambique, proposes to
extend to the Recipient a grant in an amount not to exceed Sixteen Million
Five Hundred Ninety Thousand and Thirty-Four Canadian Dollars
(CAD$16,590,034.00) ("Grant") on the terms and conditions set forth or
referred to in this letter agreement ("Agreement"), which includes the
attached Annex, to assist in the financing of the project described in the
Annex ("Project"). This Grant is funded out of the above mentioned trust
fund for which the World Bank receives periodic contributions. In
accordance with Section 3.02 of the Standard Conditions (as defined in the
Annex to this Agreement), the Recipient may withdraw the Grant proceeds
subject to the availability of such funds."
2. The table in Section 3.01 of the Annex to the Agreement is deleted in its
entirety and is replace with the Annex attached to this amendment letter.

All other provisions of the Agreement, except amended herein, shall remain in
full force and effect.
Please indicate your agreement with the foregoing amendments to the
Agreement on behalf of the Recipient by countersigning and dating the two original
copies of this letter and returning one countersigned original to us. Upon receipt by
the World Bank of this countersigned copy, this amendment shall become effective as
of the date of the countersignature.
