Amendment to the Letter Agreement                             
We refer to the Letter Agreement (the Letter Agreement) between the Republic of 
Moldova and the International Development Association (the Association), dated November 6, 
2003.  We have been informed that the amount allocated for this Grant by Japan is US$495,000.  
Therefore, the Letter Agreement is revised as follows: 
 
1. 
In the first paragraph of the Letter Agreement, the amount of the Grant is revised to read 
“four hundred ninety five thousand United States Dollars (US$495,000).” 
 
2. 
In paragraph 1.1. (a) of the Annex to the Letter Agreement, the amount of “$258,900” is 
revised to read “US$258,000.” 
 
3. 
The table in paragraph 4.2 of the Annex to the Letter Agreement is revised as follows:
