Under project Component A, 17.24 km was completed exceeding target value which was set at 16 km. More than 32,000 households have benefited from sewage network rehabilitation, against a total target of 48,000 household connections. For Sarajevo wastewater treatment plant contract, the required construction permits were granted and the works will be accelerated over the coming months and as such the low disbursement rate (36%) is expected to substantially increase over the next reporting period. Progress has been made under Component B in strengthening institutional systems, including improvements to the Sarajevo Water Utility Management Information System. This is expected to improve the processing time for financial transactions and improve reporting across departments within the Utility. A new water tariff was introduced in the third quarter of 2013 year and thus revenues start increasing during 2014. According to VIK's Annual Report (I-VI months 2014) comparing to Report 2013 (I-VI months) there was increase in invoicing for 27% and increase in revenue for 23%. Further positive project impacts are expected after completion of ongoing works to rehabilitate the Sarajevo waste water treatment plant.
