The trust fund is also be used to fund a significant technical assistance and capacity building activities to a larger PAMSIMAS program which is funded by combination of Government own sources and IBRD loan. This larger program has successfully provided 8.8 million of beneficiaries with access to improved water facilities and more than 8.7 million with access to improved sanitation facilities. The Government will expand the program into a national rural water and sanitation platform (PAMSIMAS III) in about 360 districts starting in 2016.
