However, the project has made notable progress on a number of procurement packages: Reservoir R2 contract was signed on Nov. 8, 2021, good progress on the procurement of the R2 construction supervision, launching of Rusafa 1&2 sewerage pumping station contracts, draft BER for Ghazaliya works contract submitted for no. objection, launching of Habibiya sewerage pumping station planned to be before Dec. 15,2021, etc. Also, the project has seen good progress regarding the completion of the four water distribution network contracts while the fifth water contract is under implementation, providing improved water access to more than 152,700 citizens with 109192-meter length (ML) of pipes replaced.
