The project is expected to be declared effective latest by December 29, 2022. The SPTP will consolidate earlier achievements by expanding a robust Rwanda’s social protection flagship program, the Vision Umurenge Program (VUP) to reach more poor and vulnerable households, focusing on its innovative human capital-centered interventions. Furthermore, the project will finance the implementation of the Rwanda’s graduation strategy and facilitate a stronger link between Social Safety Net (SSN) and social insurance Long- Term Saving Scheme (LTSS-Ejo Heza) as a pathway for sustainable graduation of the VUP beneficiaries.
