To date, of the 12 provinces identified for construction of 57 education facilities, and all are ready for student enrollment in Adana, Mersin, Kilis, Konya, Kayseri, Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Osmaniye, İstanbul and Ankara provinces. With the budget savings, construction of additional 5 schools is under progress and to be completed and furnished before the extended grant closing date. The Project has Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) in place accessible to project-affected people. The Project design entails a GRM to administer and resolve grievances that could be encountered during the construction of school buildings as well as to address other issues pertaining to social cohesion and integration.
