EHCP is on track to reach and exceed the planned results. Over 2.56 million beneficiaries have received health and nutrition services in EHCP-supported health facilities in all governorates in Yemen. This includes 1,408,667 beneficiaries receiving services in supported hospitals and through measles vaccination campaign, and 1,150,666 women and children receiving basic health and nutrition services at the primary health care (PHC) level. Through the EHCP, 1,866 health workers have also been trained within six months compared to an annual target of 2,000. In addition, one round of integrated outreach was conducted nationally. The project end target of reaching 3.65 million beneficiaries receiving health, nutrition or population services, is likely to be surpassed. Furthermore, around 100,000 people have been provided with access to improved water supply and sanitation services, exceeding a total target of 850,000.
