The project became effective in July 2017 with the Project Development Objectives (PDO) of improving basic education service delivery and student retention in 26 target schools (20 primary and 6 secondary) of the most vulnerable, and remote regions in the country. The latest available project data indicates that all three PDO indicators have been met or exceeded their targets, and all six Intermediate Results Indicators (IRI) have also been achieved. The preparation for the project Implementation Completion Results report (ICR) has started. It is expected that the ICR report process will be completed before the deadline of August 31, 2022.
