The Tanzania Transport Integration Project was approved by the World Bank Board on May 24, 2022. The Project Effectiveness deadline was
September 14, 2022. On September 12, 2022, the World Bank received a request from the Government of Tanzania to extend the Effectiveness
deadline by 45 days. On September 14, 2022, the World Bank agreed to extend the Effectiveness deadline to October 30, 2022.
