                 INDIA: Bihar Rural Roads Project (Credit Number 5938-IN)
                                Extension of Closing Date

        We refer to the Financing Agreement (“Financing Agreement”) between India
(“Recipient”) and the International Development Association (“Association”), dated May 29,
2017; and to the Project Agreement between the Association and the State of Bihar (“Project
Implementing Entity”) of the same date, for the Bihar Rural Roads Project (“Project”). We also
refer to the DEA’s letter F.No.7/2/2014-FB.VII dated December 20, 2022, requesting the
Association to extend the Closing Date of the above captioned Credit provided for under the
Financing Agreement.

        I am pleased to inform you that the Association has established June 30, 2023, as the later
date for purposes of Section IV.B.2 of Schedule 2 to the Financing Agreement.
