Implementation Status and Key Decisions
This ISR reflects the findings of the Implementation Support Mission conducted in March 21-31, 2022, as well as the follow-up discussions with the
Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) and State Forest Service (SFS). The draft law on amendments of forest code supported under the project has now
been officially submitted for line ministries’ review and agreement, and it is expected that these amendments. 10 contracts on green houses,

processing workshops, bridges, plantation, and rehabilitation of offices and 9 micro-projects have been completed. Despite these achievements, the
overall implementation progress is downgraded to Moderately Unsatisfactory due to delays in finalization of some investments like construction of
cordons and irrigation structures. To bring the project implementation back on track a time-bound Action Plan has been agreed until July 30, 2022.
