Implementation Status and Key Decisions
The installation of 30,500 SHS units under the PVM component is being completed, and have reached 83.6 percent. The seven 1MW solar power
plants under the RNS component are being retendered after the unsuccessful tendering. The 10-month extension of the Access to Sustainable
Energy Project implementation period is being processed by the government to allow additional time to complete the RNS implementation and
achievement of the project objectives. The outlook for project implementation is highly challenging due to the impact of global supply chain
bottlenecks, continued disruptions of COVID-19 and change of administration and subsequent delay in government process.
