The Project was restructured on June 23, 2021 in order to reallocate uncommitted project funds to operationalize and capitalize the SME Guarantee Fund and respond to the government request to support SMEs' recovery from the impacts of COVID-19. The restructuring also extended the closing date to July 31, 2023 and made modifications to selected intermediate indicators and their targets in the Results Framework. As of February 28, 2022 the project has disbursed US$45.05 million (or 35.23%). Under Component 1 (Enhancing the Performance of Economic Infrastructure), three out of six roads (11.36 km out of 25 km or 45%) have been completed. The contract for Rue de Grumiers has been re-attributed following cancellation of the previous contract. The Entrepreneurship Program under Component 2 has resumed following the contracting of a new firm in July 2021 with the formal launch in November 2021. Component 3 activities are advancing despite significant delays, in particular the updating and strengthening of the cadaster in Bouaké and San Pedro, and activities to support the municipalities. 3/17/2022 Page 1 of 8 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report CI-Infrastructure for Urban Development and Competitiveness of second cities (P151324) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance Substantial Moderate Moderate Macroeconomic Moderate Moderate Moderate Sector Strategies and Policies Substantial Moderate Moderate Technical Design of Project or Program High Moderate Moderate Institutional Capacity for Implementation and Substantial Substantial Substantial Sustainability Fiduciary Substantial Substantial Moderate Environment and Social Moderate Substantial Substantial Stakeholders Moderate Moderate Moderate Other Moderate -- -- Overall Substantial Moderate Moderate Results PDO Indicators by Objectives / Outcomes Create conditions for improved competitiveness in the target cities IN01091683 ►Average reduction in travel time on rehabilitated/upgraded roads (Percentage, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 0.00 0.00 0.00 50.00 Date 14-Mar-2017 19-Apr-2021 25-Jan-2022 30-Jun-2023 This indicator evaluates the average gain in travel time on the rehabilitated/upgraded roads.
