The extension in closing date has the purpose of allowing the completion of subprojects whose implementation had been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic and additional beneficiaries financed under the additional financing grant. The original grant had been fully disbursed and has successfully achieved or surpassed all its PDO indicators end targets. The Project Implementing Unit has recently completed the contracting process of the consulting firm that will execute subprojects under the PROSASUR additional financing. 12/20/2023 Page 1 of 8 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Corredor Seco Food Security Project (P148737) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance Substantial Substantial Substantial Macroeconomic Substantial Substantial Substantial Sector Strategies and Policies Low Moderate Moderate Technical Design of Project or Program Substantial Substantial Substantial Institutional Capacity for Implementation and High Substantial Substantial Sustainability Fiduciary Substantial Substantial Substantial Environment and Social Moderate Moderate Moderate Stakeholders Moderate Moderate Moderate Other Low Substantial Substantial Overall Substantial Substantial Substantial Results PDO Indicators by Objectives / Outcomes Enhance food and nutritional security of vulnerable households in select areas of the Corredor Seco IN01371792 ►Average yield achieved in food crops by participating HH of component 1 (Number, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value 570.75 783.26 783.26 685.00 Date 01-Dec-2015 30-May-2023 07-Dec-2023 31-Dec-2024 The value of this indicator (783.26 kg/ha) has surpassed by 14 percent the end target of 685 kg/ha.
