It based on the mission’s findings held during November 6-22, 2023. The mission’s objectives were to evaluate the project’s implementation progress, advise the client on the resolution of the key issues, and initiate the project’s Mid Term Review (MTR). The Project became effective in October 2021. On-the-ground activities initiated in November 2021. Disbursement rate to date has reached US$ 44.2 m or 32 percent of the total Net Commitment to date, including US$ 11.2 million since the previous mission. The project adopted proactive approaches to resolution of the issues under the project’s control, which allowed to advance implementation of the activities towards the achievement of the Project Development Objectives (PDO). The UNOPS contracts received the Administrative Tribunal’ clearances and started the implementation.
