For DLI 2, the result for years 1-3 have been achieved, and the result for year 4 (placement of sovereign risk insurance for protection against cyclone winds and excessive rains, during the cyclonic season 2023/2024), is advanced and will be achieved by mid-December 2023, and the result for Year 5 will be achieved by February 2024. For DLI 3, the results of Year 1-2 have been achieved with the strengthening of 321 Local DRM committees strengthened) in southern an central Mozambique, and the verification will be completed by early December 2023. For DLI 4, the results of year 1-4 have been completed after development and successful testing of the early warning information system (Result of year 2), that reached 700,000 people in risk-prone areas in the provinces of Gaza and Inhambane results for years 3 and 4), and result for Year 5 will be achieved and verified by mid-December 2023. The result for DLI 5 (ministerial diploma approving the resilient designs for education infrastructure) was achieved in October 2021, verified by the Administrative Tribunal, and the corresponding disbursement of the amount of US$1 million was made by the Bank in 2022. For DLI 6, the result for Year 1 (Assessment of vulnerability of 5,000 classrooms and subsequent prioritization of 3,000 to be retrofitted under the Program, including the preparation of related detailed designs and tender documents) and year 2 (387 classrooms retrofitted as part of the 631 classrooms under rehabilitation) have been achieved. Additional 315 classrooms are under works, while other 568 classrooms are at signature of contracts, totaling 1,515 classrooms to be completed under the Program (50.5% original result of 3,000 classrooms) by by end of June 2024. By end of December 2023, 72.5% of results of the Program will be achieved. Almost 90% of the activities of the the Program Action Plan (PAP) are completed, ad the remaining two activities are at final contracting stage under the Technical Assistance (IPF) component of the Program. The Environmental and Social Management Units and the GRM are fully operational at both INGD and MINEDH. The Action Plan for Gender Based Violence (GBV) at INGD is at finalization for wider socialization by mid-December 2023, while the preparation of the six emergency response manuals is underway and will be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
