The pace of implementation progress of the major contracts (representing 76 percent of the Project amount) has accelerated following a strengthening of the contract management team. Maintaining progress of implementation of the major contracts is critical to keeping the Overall Implementation Progress on track to achieve the Project Development Objective by the revised Project closing date (November 28, 2025). Solomon Power has made good progress with the implementation of Component 2 (Electricity Connections in Low-income Areas) completing a verified total of 2,469 household connections (exceeding the end target by 82 percent), 94 microenterprise connections (exceeding the end target by 25 percent), and 100 community service connections.
