One national PMO has been established under the Professional Qualification Authority. Five local PMOs have been established in the transport departments/bureaus of Hubei, Xiamen, Yantai, Weifang and Guangdong. Overall the project is making good progress. At the national level, 8 out of 9 TA contracts have been signed. The capacity building activities are being downsized compared to the original plan due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. At the local level, 9 out of the total 11 contracts have been signed, accounting for 77 percent of the local component value.
