Good progress has been made though with some delays. For regional component, study on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated fishing, fish spawning, and by-catch is well underway and mobilization of consultants for fisheries statistics and stock assessment is almost final. Raising awareness events were organized in some of the member states while the remaining is planned within this calendar year. For Yemen component, tender for the rehabilitation of the landing site is expected soon and SMEPS is finalizing the initial batch of beneficiaries.
