KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions Despite the delays in completing the issuance of a National Sovereign Guarantee to the loan, the Borrower has worked towards advancing implementation to the extent possible before loan effectiveness. The Project was signed on September 14, 2022, and became effective on January 6, 2023. The contract for the engineering studies and designs for the implementation of the Amazonas Express public transport corridor component has been awarded. Social works and demolitions have started in Cabana. Procurement processes for the Cabana Urban upgrading are underway. During the Mid-Term Review Mission in June, an action plan was discussed to make up for the initial delay. 5.
