All 8 productive subprojects have been contracted and started implementation, eventually benefiting a total of 1,663 beneficiaries including 1,600 farmers and 63 small agri-food processors of which 859 are women (190 percent of the end target) and 804 are men. Among the beneficiaries, 415 are members of indigenous communities (234 women; 181 men). In addition, the project is supporting five agricultural extension startups that are providing technical assistance to producers. The project is also actively promoting improved food and nutrition security through extending nutrition-smart agriculture (NSA) approaches in 84 communities. The next implementation support mission (mid term review) is planned for June 2023.
