Implementation Status and Key Decisions
The rehabilitation of the YTPC and Ashnak substations has been completed. HVEN is considering a possible 5-month contract extension for the
Ararat-2 substation (the current closing date is May 2024) to provide a sufficient buffer to mitigate the risks of possible delays in delivery of specific
equipment caused by unforeseen events (including the impacts of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine) would lead to another extension request. The
meeting of the development objective depends on the progress of works at Ararat-2 substation.
