KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The overall progress is delayed. The design/technical study that is required prior to the construction of Runway End Safety Areas, supply and installation of air navigation equipment, and construction of airport cold storage facility are progressing, despite slowly. Since these major elements of the project to improve operational safety and navigation efficiency of air transport in Grenada are delayed, the initial completion date of June 2026 is unlikely to materialize unless a significant pace change occurs. 5.
