KEY ISSUES & STATUS 4.1 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The Ghana Digital Acceleration Project (GDAP) was approved by the World Bank's Board approval in April 2022. The project obtained Parliament approval in May 2023. The project became effectiveness in June 2023. At this early implementation phase, the Project Coordination Unit (PCU) focuses on expediting TORs development and procurement process, and advance disbursement. Two procurement specialists have been assigned to accelerate procurement process. The Project made its first disbursement of US$15.77m in March 2024. Cumulative disbursement is expected to reach over US$25m by the end of June 2024. 5.
