Has the Project Development Objective been changed since Board Approval of the Project Objective? No Components Table Name Component 1: Developing the building blocks of a social protection system:(Cost $3.00 M) Component 2: Conditional cash transfer program:(Cost $13.57 M) Component 3: Coordination, management, monitoring and evaluation:(Cost $7.30 M) Overall Ratings Name Previous Rating Current Rating Progress towards achievement of PDO Satisfactory Satisfactory Overall Implementation Progress (IP) Satisfactory Satisfactory Overall Risk Rating Moderate Low Implementation Status and Key Decisions Progress toward achieving the Project Development Objective (PDO) is "Satisfactory." Out of the four PDO indicators, the project has successfully achieved three indicators. PDO indicator 3, related to children diet diversity, achieved 90 percent of the expected target despite severe external conditions such as COVID-19 and high inflation, which directly hampered any improvement in household consumption habits achieved. Loss of income, high inflation, and currency depreciation considerably reduced household purchasing power and adversely impacted rural and poor households. Given the elements mentioned above, the team considers that the achievement of 90 percent of the goal is satisfactory. This indicator will be closely tracked during the second phase to make sure existing interventions are effective in increasing diet diversity. Overall Implementation Progress remains “Satisfactory”. The project continues to enjoy high-level support and management from both MAF and MPI at the central, provincial, and district levels, and disbursements are on track (98%). 5/21/2024 Page 1 of 8 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Reducing Rural Poverty and Malnutrition Project (P162565) Risks Systematic Operations Risk-rating Tool Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Political and Governance Moderate Moderate Moderate Macroeconomic Substantial Substantial Substantial Sector Strategies and Policies Substantial Moderate Low Technical Design of Project or Program High Moderate Low Institutional Capacity for Implementation and Substantial Substantial Moderate Sustainability Fiduciary Substantial Substantial Substantial Environment and Social Low Moderate Moderate Stakeholders Substantial Substantial Moderate Other -- -- -- Overall Substantial Moderate Low Results PDO Indicators by Objectives / Outcomes Objective 1: Develop a targeting, information, and monitoring system for social protection programs IN01400242 ►Indicator 1: Percentage of households with periodically updated socio-economic survey information reported in the social registry.
