Under Component 1, 30 of 57 subprojects have been completed to date, benefitting more than 127,000 people. Civil works are ongoing in 16 subprojects and 4 subprojects are under tendering. Detailed designs for 4 subprojects are completed and design of the last 3 subprojects is in progress. Detailed designs for Gulbaar and Otuz-Adyr subprojects have been contracted and construction works are planned to be launched toward the end of 2023. Under Component 2, rehabilitation of sanitation facilities in schools and implementation of the results-based incentive grants are progressing, albeit modestly, due to delays in the finalization of detailed designs and slow uptake by households.
