The project implementation entities are the Department of Tourism (DoT) and Communications and Works Department (C&W) of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (GoKP). Project has already installed 329 informational and directional signboards for archaeology sites in the Mardan, Galiyat and Swat and along the Islamabad Peshawar Motorway. The activities for the conservation of seven heritage sites will be completed by October 2023. Peshawar Museum and Gor Gathri were illuminated for night tourism through project resources. The objective was to ensure that sector adheres to the SOPs on hygiene, social distancing, visitors and community's health safety and appropriate use and disposal of the PPEs, once it reopens. Participants were from the MSMEs, hotels and restaurants associations, local communities and workers of the MSMEs.
