In April 2023, ANIES completed the Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) payment cycle (6 payments total) for around 20,000 households. ANIES also concluded a community validation process for ECT beneficiaries in November 2022, and in April 2023, it has finalized the verification of direct (female) beneficiaries for approximately 130,000 new beneficiary households. ECTs will be rolled out through a phased approach and will commence with four prefectures, namely Forecariah, Beyla, Kindia, and Kouroussa. Transfers are estimated to start in early May. The CORE-Management Information System customization has been completed and is now ready for launch as part of the project.
