An assessment of the Results Framework, outcome and output indicators, and disbursements shows that the project has made strong progress towards the achievement of the project development objective. Out of seven indicators, six indicators have already exceeded their final targets. Progress on the remaining one indicator related to the Industrial Training Institutes and apprenticeships has been impacted due to the closure of the institutions because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, progress towards achieving the objective of the project continues to be satisfactory. Implementation progress continues to be steady. The project has been catching up with the restructured implementation schedule at a substantive pace. Implementation progress is regularly evaluated, and feedback is being collected on a regular basis. The project closing date is May 31, 2024. The operation is showing some good outcomes that are likely to be sustained after the project closing since some of the key activities are beginning to be institutionalized. The problems faced by State-level implementing agencies are being addressed in a timely manner. Further, regular capacity building and knowledge sharing workshops are also being conducted. The performance of the implementing units is moderately satisfactory.
