Implementation Status and Key Decisions
The project closing date was extended by 13 months to June 30, 2022 to allow time for the completion of the remaining project activities. Progress
was noted since the October 2021 mission with the provisional delivery of the the Soukissa Market in Brazzaville and the launch of the rehabilitation
works of Tchiniambi-1 market in Pointe Noire, the launch of the rehabilitation of the Sorbonne school in Brazzaville and of the Pambou Benjamin
and Bernard Moutou Mavougou School in Pointe Noire and the delivery of 21 km of paved roads in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire (out of the 18 km
planned). Such progress is reflected in the level of disbursement rate, which now stands at 79% (vs 59% in October 2021). However, in view of

number of activities remaining to be implemented by the end of the project, there is a risk that the activities will not be completed on time, hence
requiring a possible extension of the project closing date.
