Key changes made include: (1) a no-cost extension of the project closing date by six and a half months, from 15 December 2024 to 30 June 2025; (2) adjustment of the results framework to more accurately align with the operating context; (3) introduction of additional flexibility within the eligibility criteria for residential units to be rehabilitated; and (4) a limited reallocation of costs within the project budget to enable its continued operation during the extended implementation period. The project is on track to achieve its objectives. On housing rehabilitation, 3 buildings (18 residential units) are currently being reconstructed with expected completion by December 2024. Additionally, 9 buildings (27 units) are in the tendering process and 7 buildings (21 units) are in the design phase, with completion dates set for March 2025 and May 2025 respectively. Technical assistance has been provided to 56 individuals from various entities involved in the housing sector.
