These 2/24/2024 Page 5 of 8 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report National Urban Cadaster and Municipal Support Project (P162278) technical specifications seek to modernize current regulations for producing, updating, and maintaining cadastral information. Therefore, by the end of 2023, the PIU hired the services to prepare four Manuals, and one of those is concluded. Also, on March 7, 2023, the Government adopted the Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) based on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 19152:2012 to use and exchange cadastral information among government agencies. Using LADM will allow for the integration and interoperability of cadastral information. Therefore, to comply with this indicator, technical procedures and standards that should apply for the collection and preservation of the cadastral information are being formulated through the following individual consultants' services that are already in process:  Cadastral maintenance procedures (As of December 2023, the procedures are being prepared)  Manuals for cadastral survey, cadastral update, and urban cadastral maintenance (As of December 2023, the three Manuals are being prepared)  Cartographic standards applied to the urban cadaster Manual (As of December 2023, the Manual has been concluded) IN01390575 ►Adoption of updated property valuation methodology (Yes/No, Custom) Baseline Actual (Previous) Actual (Current) End Target Value No No No Yes Date 12-Dec-2019 03-Oct-2023 24-Jan-2024 28-Feb-2025 To achieve this indicator, the WB team has emphasized the importance of approving a methodology called Simplified Table for fiscal purposes. This Table would simplify the cadastral survey form, thus lowering the cost of urban cadastral information collection. On October 30, 2022, through Ministerial Resolution No. 309-2022-VIVIENDA, the mentioned methodology was materialized by the inclusion of an Official Building Unit Values (VUOE) Table (simplified Table of the three items), enabling Municipalities to calculate the valuation of property assets as well as the property tax. On December 28, 2022, this simplified Table was limited by Ministerial Resolution No. 425-2022-VIVIENDA to be only used for cadastral purposes in the selected districts of the Comments: Project. To achieve the PDO-Level Indicator No. 1, the WB team has emphasized the importance of extending the application of the methodology for tax purposes. The MVCS approved and issued this extension on October 27, 2023, through Ministerial Resolution No. 469-2023-VIVIENDA. In addition, on March 13, 2023, the Government approved the simplified cadastral survey form that reduces the costs of urban data collection cadastral information.
