Although there have been delays during implementation in part due to COVID-19 constraints and issues around mobilizing the project implementation unit (PIU) and key technical advisories, there has been steady progress made on a number of activities including (a) the development of a maritime curriculum which has been adopted by the College of Marshall Islands (CMI), (b) the completion of office renovations at CMI to be used by the PIU and career counseling services supported by the project, and (c) the recruitment of a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, Ebeye Coordinator, and an international Communications Specialist.
